Terms
Guardian assists the work. The legal team remains in control.
These public terms are a product-use summary, not a substitute for the signed customer agreement required for a commercial deployment.

Product role
Guardian is workflow and AI-assistance software for legal teams. Guardian is not a law firm, does not provide legal advice, does not replace professional judgment, and does not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of generated material. A qualified user must review work before relying on, filing, or sending it.
Authorized use
You must have authority to create the workspace, connect accounts, upload content, and direct Guardian to process it. You are responsible for users, client permissions, professional obligations, retention duties, court rules, and the legality of each workflow. Do not use Guardian to violate law, rights, security controls, or provider terms.
Human approval and external actions
Connectors and outbound communication are disabled by default. Enabling a capability does not eliminate the need for review. Guardian may stage or execute an action only under the workspace policy, signed scope, and approval rules in effect at that time. You remain responsible for recipients, deadlines, filings, payments, and final work product.
Accounts and security
Keep credentials and devices secure, use multi-factor authentication when available, and notify Guardian promptly about suspected misuse. You may not share access outside the licensed organization, probe another tenant, bypass safeguards, or introduce malicious content. Guardian may suspend access to protect customers or the service.
Customer data and providers
The customer retains ownership of its data and grants Guardian the limited rights needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the service. Use of OpenAI, xAI, hosting, payment, and optional connector services is also subject to applicable provider terms. The Privacy Notice explains the default data path.
Preview features and changes
Features identified as preview, beta, pilot, or not release-ready may change, be unavailable, or contain defects and must not be used for production legal work unless the applicable order form expressly permits it. The iPhone companion is excluded from the production release until its published release blocker is cleared.
Commercial terms
Pricing, license scope, support, service levels, payment, renewal, confidentiality, warranties, liability limits, termination, governing law, and data-processing commitments belong in the signed order form and customer agreement. Those signed terms control over this public summary.
