Install
Guardian installation starts inside the firm workspace.
Guardian does not publish a global installer containing customer enrollment material. Each install handoff is authenticated and scoped to the intended firm.
1. Create the firm workspace
An authorized attorney creates the workspace and selects the isolated OpenAI or xAI provider lane.
2. Open the private install guide
Guardian prepares an authenticated, firm-scoped handoff. No firm-bound installer is exposed on this public page.
3. Install on the target Mac
Use the firm-specific signed package when support has published one, or the authenticated direct script during a managed synthetic-data pilot.
4. Verify the host
The attorney compares the Mac host fingerprint out of band before Guardian treats the host as trusted.
Why the download is private
A managed Guardian package is prepared for one workspace. Only an authenticated attorney in that firm can request its short-lived download link. Superseded packages expire and are never reused for another customer.
What the Mac needs
- • A supported macOS account controlled by the firm
- • Power and internet access for cloud-backed workflows
- • Official Codex or Grok CLI installed from its reviewed source
- • Access to beta.guardianbots.ai for signed host check-ins
